As our Senior Director of Demand Generation, you will oversee Hootsuite’s global demand generation programs to drive customer acquisition, enterprise leads, and overall revenue for Hootsuite. This role will lead our digital marketing channels, and work closely with our product and field marketing teams, sales leaders, and regional teams to ensure Marketing is continuously generating and accelerating qualified leads for sales.
You're great at:
- Developing and executing a measurable multi-touch and integrated demand generation strategy that drives leads and revenue through direct and indirect sales teams
- Directing the execution of programs that align to Hootsuite’s go-to-market strategy, using a test & learn methodology
- Championing the optimization and growth of the marketing database
- Defining the end-to-end lead management process
- Building processes and tools that support scale and regional/functional team empowerment, including self-serve capabilities where appropriate
- Managing and developing a highly engaged team of growth & marketing professionals
- Forecasting, measuring, analyzing and reporting on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length
- Proactively introducing new technologies, services, partnerships & marketing programs that address key business needs and drive revenue
- Successfully supported sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets
- 10+ years of B2B demand creation experience
- 5+ years of B2B digital/inbound marketing
- Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience; Masters Degree preferred
- Experience building and managing a shared Demand Waterfall with sales
- Experience creating and implementing proven successful, seeding, demand creation, lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration programs
- Proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas to a variety of audiences
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills
- Leadership experience in a SaaS software company
- Budget management experience
