In this role, you’ll focus on the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) market, and your goal will be selling our enterprise-level product to general market clients who generate up to $500 million in revenue.  The opportunities in this area are vast and ready to be cultivated.  You will be creating a match between their business needs and our ground-breaking capabilities in social media technologies.   • Following up on inbound leads in a timely manner

  • Prioritize accounts and develop an overall territory and account plans

  • Sourcing and approaching new leads for our Enterprise product offering (see:

  • Managing a defined set of accounts + demonstrating Hootsuite capabilities to potential clients

  • Uncover and demonstrate the business value which customers can obtain through leveraging Hootsuite’s solution

  • Attainment of sales quota and accurate sales forecasting

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years experience in field or inside sales, lead generation, and client management

  • Experience selling to the SME industry

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a closely knit team

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Passionate about Twitter, Facebook and other social web apps

  • Interested or experience in a tech start-up

  • Ability to adapt to change and flourish in a dynamic environment

  • A positive attitude + ability to excel under pressure

  • An unmatched desire to learn

  • Experience in Social Media

  • Know how to manage a sales funnel to get to "yes"

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or related work experience
