Who You Are...

Hootsuite is looking for an experienced Strategic Solution Partner Manager to build, enable and manage partnerships for the Southern Europe region.  

Do you have experience driving revenue growth through Consultants and Digital Agencies as partners ? In this role you will have the opportunity to use your passion for social, while leveraging your experience of working with partners to ride the wave of Social Business, while we build the industry leading partner channel in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, and Switzerland.

Solution Partners are a key part of our global strategy to drive adoption of our platform as the backbone for social business. Based in Paris, and working as part of the EMEA team, the Strategic Solution Partner Manager is responsible for creating, and managing relationships with Consultancies, Digital Agencies and Systems Integrators who are transforming business for their clients by bringing them services and solutions built around social.

This role is a mix of strategic planning & tactical execution and the successful candidate will be a dynamic multi-tasker, who loves overcoming challenges, and is able to embrace change.  The ideal candidate will have experience positioning enterprise level solutions in the territory and a successful track record of managing sales cycles and the overall business relationship with partners.

The ideal candidate has a history of recruiting and motivating partners with industry leading technologies. They must also have the ability to independently see future opportunities and adjust actions to take advantage of them. This role is part of EMEA Partner team.

Role will include travel 30 – 50% of time.  

You’re Great At...

Relationship Building: You have at least 7 years experience in establishing strong relationships with digital agencies, consultants and systems integrator partners who are driving enterprise level transformational change around social business. You’re great at driving partners to maximise sales and total partner potential through sales training and support.

Strategy & Sales: You have at least 3 years SaaS enterprise sales experience and are confident at leading, managing and reviewing business and marketing plans with partners. You are consultative and have an excellent ability to sell with, sell to and sell through partners to generate revenue around new, renewal and upsell opportunities. You’re great at identifying pain points and problems on a strategic level and will make the required adjustments. You can also recognise new opportunities and directions for the Solution Partner Program and other Hootsuite Partner Programs.  

Collaboration: You drive virtual cross functional teams based on business plans and go to market plans as it relates to partners.

Conflict management & resolution: You’re great at resolving conflict with regards to account coverage, billing etc.

Self Starter: You are a driven and self motivated individual. You’re always looking to build a better way and suggest improvements to develop and improve current processes. You have the ability to work independently and hold a track record as a top performer in an enterprise sales role.

Communication: You are a confident and articulate communicator with excellent written and verbal communications skills in both English & French. You can alter your communication style to suit your partners and wider business’ needs. You are approachable, dependable and have a personable manner. You’re also great at engaging and building valuable relationships with both internal stakeholders and partners.

  • Familiarity with Social Customer Care, Social Sales, Social Business
  • Sales training certification
  • Fluent in another European language. Spanish language skills are particularly valuable!
